Our Story
MJP Homes Ltd is a family business, run by brother & sister team Joe and Melissa Potente.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience from running a commercial building company, Inndecs Ltd and a passion for all things property, Joe & Melissa have built a property portfolio worth £3.6m in their 7 years of trading.
Having lived in Gloucestershire for most of their lives, they have been able to draw up upon their knowledge of the local area to find prime sites for development. Their Gloucester roots have also helped develop key working relationships with local agents, designers, architects and listed buildings consultants.
With a keen eye for design, the brother and sister team always try to bring a little creativity and innovation to every property that they work on.
Melissa Potente
Director
Having worked in the commercial fit out industry for 14 years, Melissa is able to draw upon their knowledge and expertise of running the commercial building company Inndecs. Not only is she able to use their own build team on her projects, but she is able to utilise her experience of working with some of the most talented designers and architects in the local area.
Melissa is passionate about getting more women started in the build and property industry and hopes to launch a training and coaching programme in the near future.
Joe Potente
Director
Having grown up in Gloucester Joe started his career with an electrical apprentice with a local company when he was 18. He then started his career at Inndecs working as an operative for 4 years, before taking his directorship in 2011.
Joe heads up the site management division of Inndecs and ensures the smooth running of commercial projects on site. He also ensures that all sites are running safely and adhere to the highest standards of health and safety at all times.
Joe took his City & Guilds level 3 diploma in 2017, this has ensured his workmanship and carpentry is of the highest standard. Joe has been able to transfer all of his site management skills into MJP Homes Ltd, by ensuring that all of our properties are renovated to the highest standards, safely and as quickly as possible.
